Hyderabad: IT leader Infosys is looking to expand its campus at Hyderabad, which would add another 17,000 jobs to the IT ecosystem in the city. The deal stipulates that Infosys will invest **₹750 crore** in the first phase to construct new IT buildings at its Pocharam campus. It will be completed in the next two to three years, thereby contributing largely to the IT infrastructure of the state and positioning Telangana as one of India’s top IT hubs.
Infosys Hyderabad now has about **35,000 employees** and is one of the largest campuses of the company. **Infosys CFO Jayesh Sanghrajka**, who met with **Telangana IT and Industries Minister D. Sridhar Babu** at Davos, was optimistic that this expansion would result in new innovations and further cement the collaboration between Infosys and the Telangana government.
Minister Sridhar Babu said that full support will be given by state government to this kind of corporate leaders like Infosys.
