Recently, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy reviewed the critical infrastructure projects across Greater Hyderabad in a high-level meeting with officials from the Municipal Administration and Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC). Discussions include the development of the most-awaited Miralam Lake bridge and other key initiatives.
Miralam Lake Bridge: Future Landmark of Hyderabad
Chief Minister Reddy said that the Miralam Lake bridge was of immense importance and should be a landmark for any city. He wanted this project to be completed in such a way that it stands out not only as a practical bridge but as a fun place for families and children alike to play around. The CM wanted that a visually pleasing and people-friendly place should be around the structure.
Tight Schedules for Efficient Completion
To fasten the process, CM Reddy instructed the officials to finalize the Detailed Project Report (DPR) in 90 days. He was very strict in setting a timeline for the completion of the bridge, which had to be completed in 30 months. The Chief Minister wanted the project to be a hallmark of modern infrastructure in Hyderabad.
Assessment of Proposals and Technical Standards
Three critical proposals that had been presented to the officials for the 2.425-kilometre construction of the bridge were presented in that meeting. The CM was clear about the technical analysis going on the air so that design would focus on safety, functionality, and smooth movement of traffic.
Outside the Miralam Lake project, CM Reddy demanded planning new flyovers strategically in Hyderabad. He ordered officials to measure road widths within two days and to prepare detailed feasibility reports.
A Vision for Urban Excellence
The Chief Minister’s directives reflect the state government’s commitment to balanced urban development that prioritizes connectivity, public convenience, and environmental sustainability. His focus on delivering timely, high-quality infrastructure signals a strategic push toward transforming Greater Hyderabad into a modern, inclusive metropolis.
They told the Chief Minister they are committed to deadline adherence and upholding his vision. This, the urban development project in particular at the Miralam Lake bridge will do great deal of work on clearing up the congestions that clog traffic around the city while strengthening Hyderabad as one of the top Indian thriving cities.
